My name is Julie Levesque and I am 47 years young. I have been working in Education and Prevention of Mental Health at the Canadian Mental Health Association - CMHA for the last 15 years.

I was born and raised in Montreal up to the age of 15 when I then moved to Ottawa. At a very young age, I had a passion for dolls, and I was always choosing dolls that looked like a real baby. Growing up, I was close to my grandmother and I loved helping her care for my baby cousins. I was fortunate to be able to share time with my grandmother, and together we would sew baby clothes for my dolls. We shared that love for babies! (She would be proud to see what I am doing now).

In 1998, I was blessed to have a beautiful daughter that I raised on my own. When I became an empty nester in 2017, this is when I decided to find a passion to occupy my time. I was fortunate to discover Reborn Dolls and I totally fell in love with the idea which inspired me to pursue my passion. It brought me back to my childhood and all the love I had for dolls and babies. With the support of my wonderful husband, I took an online course and became a Reborn Artist. My husband created a studio in our home and that is when I began to be creative. I discovered a talent and a passion that I did not know I had, and it felt amazing. Each of my dolls are unique with their own details and were created with love and passion.

My hope and my goal are to be able to help people through my dolls and to bring comfort and joy to those in need. Each doll is a piece of art with their own individual look and they are all made with love.
